Art Ova Yap

The Pyrates Confraternity (NAS) is currently holding its annual art exhibition, Art Ova Yap. The Art Ova Yap exhibition is a significant event for the National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity), aiming to use art as a tool for advocacy and social justice.

The exhibition, showcases visual narratives by professional artists who use their work to address issues of governance, inequality, and societal transformation. The event is part of the association’s 49th National Konverge and Annual General Meeting, and it aims to amplify marginalized voices and foster dialogue around pressing issues affecting Nigerians. Proceeds from the exhibition will support families of deceased NAS members, and plans are underway to institutionalize Art Ova Yap as a permanent part of the association’s calendar.
