In Translation
In Translation, is a group exhibition featuring works by twelve female artists from Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eswatini. Curated by Adaobi Onyejike-Ananaba, hosted by Kokopelli Gallery in partnership with the African Female Artist Mentorship Program managed by the Girl Child Art Foundation.
This is a product of intensive three month mentorship program. The exhibition considers translation beyond language; memory rendered in material, grief in colour, inherited histories in forms that speak to the present.
