Reclaimed Beauty: A Dialogue between Continents

Dotun Popoola’s 8th solo exhibition. This exhibition features 25 original Sculptures and installations within 40 clustered biomorphic modular compositions, building-block-like artworks arranged together, all forged from discarded metal and repurposed industrial waste. This is not just an art show but as a manifesto of transformation, not recycling as we know it; rather, it is resurrection because it elevates dead materials into meaning and cultural relevance by giving them better values. The exhibition also invites reflection on the hidden potential of discarded materials. What were once part of machinery or industrial structures now emerge as artistic expression. The organizers believe the initiative contributes to broadening the debate on the circular economy and the role of art in transforming social and consumption habits. The exhibition brings together works that explore the connection between territories, cultures, and human experiences.
