Afrikoncept collections is the brainchild of the MD/CEO, Mrs. Violet Abdulkadir and it was born out of the desire to create fashion pieces that showcase the unique vibrant versatility of our African heritage, in contemporary yet classic designs that have a global/crossover appeal.

Every piece created by Afrikoncept represents a memory from Violet’s childhood, drawn largely from the wild yet hauntingly beautiful African landscape. Reflecting her love for nature, each piece is named after some tropical flowering plants in Africa.

Violet is a female entrepreneur with over 15 years’ experience in business. She has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Lagos Business School. Violet is poised to build a global brand that emphasizes ethics and social responsibility, focusing mainly on enhancing the business potential of the women and youths that produces the tie and dye print of the label, which is an integral part of label’s value chain and at the core of its business model.
