Foundation for Contemporary and Modern Visual Arts is a non profit organization set up to uplift Contemporary Art in Nigeria and Africa as a whole by documenting artworks found in different private and institutional collections, producing documentaries on those collections and artworks and by publishing art monographs.

This art company was founded in 2014 by Akinyemi Adetunji, driven by passion to give context and legacy to the art scene and artists in Nigeria. Foundation for Contemporary and Modern Visual Arts creates a platform that preserve the original narratives of artists and collections to the end that we provide momentum towards making Nigeria an art voice. Furthermore, this also helps to propagate more intellectual, historical and philosophical elements of visual art scene in Nigeria.

Since its inception in 2014, Foundation for Contemporary for Modern Visual Art has documented 10, 000 (ten thousand artworks) many of these artworks are stored, customized and managed by the company.
