Makioba is a fashion design company that blends style, pattern, print, exquisite and traditional artistry for creativity. They produce day wear, evening wear, gowns and cocktail dresses that bridges time and make the brand successful both within and outside the shores of Nigeria.

They also make fabrics for the plus size women making them look sophisticated, confident, comfortable, classy and stylish no  matter the size or age.

In October 2016, Makioba was featured in Africa’s biggest runway, ‘Lagos Fashion and Design week’, to showcase ”plus size” collections as part of the ”About that curvy life” segment. Presenting the collection ”Rays of The Moon”, they served fierce and daring designs on the runway, by introducing the never seen before high fashion trends of ”Plus size fashion” into the fashion world.

In September 2017,  Makioba launched the Lolia collection (one part of  a two – part collection) at the Plus Size Fashion Week Africa. A month later, on the La Mode Green October Event runway, the Boardroom Collection was unveiled.
