Due to the nature of these pastel chalks, they are easy to use and are ideal for blending and smudging. Crelando’s fine pigments ensure a high degree of lightfastness and coverage.
The Pastel Chalks are easily controlled and can be used in conjunction with soft and hard pastels to create delicate lines and details. In order to sharpen these chalks, we recommend using a detail knife or new blade. Sharpen slowly and aim for a gentle angle. We advise against the use of sharpeners due to the very soft and fragile nature of the pigment strip.
