Liquitex Airbrush Medium is specifically formulated to thin acrylic colors while airbrushing, mixing colors with airbrush medium will ensure that the colors do not lose their flexibility, durability and adhesion. This low viscosity medium is pre-filtered and pre-reduced to provide the perfect consistency for your airbrushing needs.
This pre-filtered, ready-to-use medium thins any acrylic, watercolors, or gouache to the right consistency for spray application, while maintaining the integrity of the paint, even at high dilutions. It also decreases clogging and paint buildup.
Keep airbrush wet during use, do not allow paint to dry in airbrush. Clean airbrush with water, water/ammonia mixture, liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink Pen Cleaner, airbrush cleaner or alcohol.
To use, mix 50% the airbrush medium to color and mix thoroughly. More medium may be added if necessary to facilitate flow through the airbrush. Different colors may require a varying quantities of Airbrush Medium due to variation in color pigment size and concentration.
